NOvember is a 30-day challenge to stop doing something that has a negative effect on your life or the world around you.
For the month of November, before the holiday chaos kicks in, take a look at your life and choose something to say "NO" to.
It can be a concept such as consumerism or something more specific, like always putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own.
Say "NO" to the things that don’t support your highest and best self. Say "NO" to the things that are counterproductive to making the world a better place.
Here are a few ideas:
Say NO to always putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own
Say NO to clutter
Say NO to accepting less than you deserve
Say NO to impulse shopping
Say NO to unhealthy food choices
Say NO to social media at the dinner table
Say NO to perfectionism
Say NO to social injustice
Say NO to distractions during the work day
Say NO to negative self talk
Say NO to events you don't want to go to
Say NO to wastefulness
Say NO to constantly comparing your life/progress/self to someone else
Say NO to a negative influence
Say NO to taking on more than you should (spreading yourself too thin)
Say NO to caffeine after 4pm
Say NO to always looking at your phone and missing out on the world around you
Say NO to caring too much about what other people think
Say NO to being too busy to enjoy the little things in life
Say NO to violence against women - November 25 is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
You can choose to do it for the month, or you can use the month to kick- start a positive and permanent change.
